  1. Under tires & wheels, what about the 16″ & 17.5″ wheels on the mid 1950’s trucks?

    • Jan Williams says:

I’m wondering about the 8.0 x 17.5 used on the B130 in 1959-1960. I would love to find a bolt pattern that would interchange so I could get away from the 17.5 inch rims. Tires in 17.5 are difficult to find and higher priced that other more common sizes. The only 17.5 inch tires I can find are very stiff and not highway friendly.

      • I’m still looking. I’ve got the same tire on my truck, because the original 7×17.5 are no longer made.
I’ve read that there may be used 16″ rims in this bolt pattern, but have not found any, nor are there any new rims made for this bolt pattern. Dodge Power wagon rims may be the best alternative, but have not tracked down that lead.

  2. I would like to see the 48 – KB2 wheel & Tire specs….. also is there a modern tubeless replacement for the original 16″ rims.
